Urgent Program

Hurricane Assistance

When a storm is coming, we help patients prepare safely — before it's too late.

Why This Program Exists

For many living with Parkinson's disease, preparing for hurricane season isn't just stressful — it can be dangerous. Simple tasks like putting up shutters or clearing debris become overwhelming when mobility is limited. That's where we come in.

Our hurricane assistance program connects Parkinson's patients with volunteers who can assist with storm preparation before hurricane conditions arrive. We coordinate before the storm — not after.

What We Provide

Shutter Installation

Volunteers to help put up hurricane shutters and board windows safely.

Debris Clearing

Evacuation Help

Assistance coordinating safe evacuation for patients who cannot travel alone.

Supply Pickup
